Privacy Policy

Data Stored on Device
talkradio stores podcast subscriptions, episode metadata, queue state, archive state, downloads, thumbnail cache, playback settings, onboarding state, and local analytics on your device.
Apple Music
If you choose to connect Apple Music, talkradio asks for access to your Apple Music library so you can select a playlist for playback between podcast episodes. Apple Music access is handled by Apple's frameworks and your Apple Account settings.
Podcast Feeds and Apple Podcasts Search
When you add or refresh a podcast, talkradio connects to the RSS feed URL you provide or the RSS feed resolved from an Apple Podcasts link. Podcast metadata, artwork, and audio files may be hosted by third-party podcast providers.
When you search Apple Podcasts or browse top shows, your search request is sent to Apple's lookup/search services.
Analytics
talkradio keeps local analytics on device, including app opens, onboarding progress, podcast additions, queue events, OPML imports, upgrade prompts, and subscription events.
Sharing anonymous analytics with the developer is off by default. You can opt in or out at any time under Settings > Privacy & Support.
If you opt in and an analytics endpoint is configured, talkradio sends an anonymous install ID, event name, event time, app version, build number, platform, and limited event properties. These events are used to understand product health and subscription conversion. Turning analytics off stops future analytics uploads.
Data Sharing
talkradio does not sell personal data. talkradio does not use third-party advertising SDKs.
RevenueCat processes purchase and subscription information, including an anonymous app user identifier, to provide StoreKit purchases, entitlement status, purchase restoration, paywalls, and subscription management. Apple processes App Store purchases and Apple Music requests under its own terms and privacy policy. Service providers are required to protect data consistently with this policy and applicable law.
Retention and Deletion
Local app data remains on your device until you remove it in the app or delete the app, subject to iOS backup behavior.
Server analytics that you chose to share is retained for up to 24 months. You can request earlier deletion by emailing jonathan@kutscher.club and including the Analytics ID shown under Settings > Privacy & Support. You can revoke analytics consent at any time by turning off Share Anonymous Analytics.
Purchase and subscription records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their legal and operational requirements. Contact jonathan@kutscher.club for help with a privacy or deletion request involving talkradio's use of those services.
